The
Shaw University Divinity School office is open Monday - Friday from
8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Divinity School operates on a non- traditional
hours schedule. Classes are held on Tuesday and Friday evenings
from 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Students
may eat meals in the Shaw University Cafeteria at rates established
by the University and during designated meal hours. Shaw Divinity
School is also in proximity of fast food restaurants and off-campus
cafes. Students have the option to purchase a meal package if they
choose to do so.

|
Housing
is available on campus for divinity school students at the regular
rate set by the University. Incoming students will be sent information
regarding the process for obtaining housing.

|
The
University Counseling Center which is located on the second floor
of the Willie E. Gary Student Union Building, is available to Divinity
School students. Students are encouraged to visit the counseling
center and make use of it as the need arises. A school nurse is
also available to serve Divinity School students. Health insurance
is available to all students.

| Required
textbooks and parallel readings as well as other books in theological
studies are available through the campus bookstore. |

|
The
GSGA is the official student organization of the Shaw University
Divinity School. All GSGA officers are elected annually by the graduate
student body. The GSGA meets monthly, and concerns itself with student
and community life. This organization is expected to have a close
working relationship with the faculty advisor for GSGA.

|
Each
Saturday students and faculty gather in the Thomas J. Boyd Chapel
for worship during the fall and spring. Proclamation of the gospel
and/or lectures are presented by the administration, faculty members,
visiting preachers, lecturers, and seniors who are called to proclaim
God's Word.
