Shaw Bears Defeat Virginia
State During Homecoming Football Game & The O'Jays Perform During
Halftime
Cary, NC – The Bears won their second-straight Homecoming
game, since returning to Football action, on November 1st against
Virginia State University. The final score was 28-17. It was a battle
of the two best offenses and two best quarterbacks in the CIAA.
Kevin Jones, the senior, came into the game leading the CIAA in
passing yards and total offense. Jermonty Kimbrough came in second
in both categories. The day belonged to Kimbrough.
