Shaw’s Divinity School to Prepare Leaders for Cultural Shift
Raleigh, NC - (May 27, 2004) - The Shaw University Divinity School
(SUDS) presents the 67th Annual Church Leadership Conference,
to be held on Saturday, June 19th, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.,
in historic Leonard Hall. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and will
remain open throughout the conference. Early Registration ends on
Monday, June 7th. This year’s theme is: Assisting Churches
in Preparing Leaders for our Changing Times.
This conference is designed to proactively position church leaders
to spiritually trail blaze practical changes in the community. Dr.
Rudolph Tripp, SUDS associate professor and conference coordinator
states that the unique quality of this conference is, “to provide
one day training for the entire church.” It is designed to benefit
members who work in all aspects of ministry.
After the 9 a.m. plenary session, attendees may participate in two
(2) workshops that will convene once in the morning and once in the
afternoon. The workshops to be presented are as follows:
