Pretty Foundation and Black
McDonald’s Owners Association to Host Golf Tournament,
August 27, 2007.
The Raleigh Region Black McDonald’s Operators Association (BMOA) and
the William Pretty, Jr. Foundation at Shaw University will host
their Second Annual Golf Classic at Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club in
Southern Pines, NC, on August 27, 2007. The Captain’s Choice
tournament will begin with a “shotgun start” at 2 pm. Proceeds from
the tournament will benefit the William Pretty, Jr. Foundation at
Shaw University which assists students pursing undergraduate degrees
in business.
Members of the BMOA are partners in the tournament to help deserving
students, and to recognize the commitment and legacy of their former
associate’s commitment to helping others achieve success. Pretty, a
1966 graduate of Shaw University was an ardent supporter of Shaw
University, and member of the Board of Trustees at the time of his
untimely death in 2003.
