Shaw Bears serving in Iraq take time to show school spirit.

(Raleigh, NC) - February 16, 2004 -- SSG Lloyd Douglas Carter ( Class of 1985 ) and SGT Michon Beckwith ( Class of 1996 ) are currently serving in the United States Army in Iraq. Their unit, the 805 military police company (Raleigh, NC) was mobilized in February 2003. Both Shaw Bears are now assigned to the 351 military police company in Iraq, conducting combat military police operations.
