Shaw Football Celebration to Honor 2007 CIAA Champions

 

Raleigh, NC - (February 8, 2008) The 2007 football season will officially conclude on the campus of Shaw University with a big celebration to honor the reigning 2007 CIAA Champions.  Head Coach Darrell Asberry, coaching staff and the entire team will be feted in fine Shaw style with the pomp and circumstance that they so rightfully deserve on Tuesday, February 12th at 12:30 p.m. in the C.C. Spaulding Gymnasium.

 

The Platinum Sound Marching Band and cheerleaders will be on hand to lead the spirit-filled celebration. The Shaw Family and the community-at-large are cordially invited to attend and bring the best in Shaw pride and school spirit as we honor our beloved Champions, their amazing season and first-time post-season achievements!
