In Memoriam

On behalf of Attorney Willie E. Gary, Chairman, the Board of Trustees and the entire Shaw University Family, I extend the most heartfelt sympathies to the family of former Wake County Sheriff John Baker, Jr.  A legend in the greater Raleigh community and the world-at-large, Sheriff Baker was a very present friend and guardian of the University and the Southeast Raleigh Community.  His passing is a great loss and we pray God's speed and continued blessings on the Baker Family.
