William Pretty Jr., Foundation to Host First Annual Golf Classic

Raleigh, NC – (August 18, 2006) The Raleigh Region Black McDonald’s Operators Association (BMOA) and the William Pretty Jr. Foundation will host the 1st Annual Golf Classic at Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club in Southern Pines, North Carolina on August 28th. Proceeds from the Classic will benefit the Foundation, which will assist students pursuing undergraduate and graduate business degrees.

The William Pretty Jr. Foundation, a 501©3 non-profit Foundation, was chartered at Shaw University in 2003 in his honor; a dedicated and driven man of excellence. It was his life’s mission to lend a helping hand. The Foundation provides the financial assistance to worthy students that have demonstrated academic excellence and a high level of commitment to the community.
