The English Program at Shaw University offers students a strong foundation in liberal arts subjects, such as English, History, public speaking and foreign language. Students gain solid communication skills;in-depth, critical thinking and problem solving skills; exposure to diverse cultures and communities; and an understanding of different disciplines that leads students to participate more fully in the global community.
